DIY Noise Proofing - How to noiseproof a room?

Our flagship product, Green Glue Noiseproofing Compound is a unique sound damping product that is ideal for new construction and renovation projects. It is the most popular and cost-effective soundproofing material on the market.

The compound’s unique properties act as a damping material to dissipate the vibrations caused by sound waves as they travel through ceilings, walls and floors.

Green Glue compound is sandwiched between 2 layers of plaster board or similar building materials allowing the sound waves to be absorbed, and not reflected back into the room as occours with some acoustic rated plasterboards.

Application of the Green Glue Compound is as easy as random swirls on the back of the new sheet of plaster to be hung.

The new sheet of plaster is then fixed to the "old" plasterboard to effectively sandwich the Green Glue Compound in the middle.
